The Argentine playmaker equalizes against Italy in the group stage, giving the Hand of God and the Goal of the Century during an unforgettable victory over England in the quarter-finals (2-1), a double against Belgium in the last four (2-0, including another great goal) and serves Jorge Burruchaga on the decisive action in the final.
Maradona ends the tournament with five goals and five assists. Rarely has an adidas Golden Ball been so unanimous.
