There was still a European ticket on the line for the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania ™ and Serbia won it. Their draw against Finland in the UEFA play-off return, combined with their 1-0 victory in the first leg allows them to become the 15th team to qualify for the main event of the discipline.
First leg: Serbia 🇷🇸 1-0 🇫🇮 Finland
Second leg: Finland 🇫🇮 5-5 🇷🇸 Serbia
Serbia and Finland met for the fifth time in an official match on December 9. With four wins and a draw, the Serbs continue their unbeaten streak, but it was tough … A hat-trick from Lazarević as well as goals from Pršić and Stojkovićdic finally allowed them to win their game. In Lithuania, Serbia will compete in their second Futsal World Cup, eight years after being eliminated in the round of 16 by Argentina in Thailand.
As a reminder, Lithuania 2021 ™ will take place from September 12 to October 3, 2021. The teams who already have their tickets in their pockets are:
