Measures in response to Covid-19

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, FIFA and the host country will do what is necessary to provide the necessary guarantees to preserve the health and ensure the safety of all participants. Additional information is available at FIFA.com. For now, only residents with a QID, citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council and those with Exceptional Entry Permits (EEP) can enter Qatari territory, subject to obtaining a visa issued by the State of Qatar and to respect the protocols of entry into the territory.

At each match, those present must present either a negative antigen test, a positive serology (antibody) test, or proof of a complete vaccination against Covid-19. In the stadiums and their surroundings, those present must wear a mask and respect the standards of physical distancing; upon arrival, they will also have to undergo a temperature control and show the status of their Ehteraz application (contact tracing and follow-up). Clinics will be set up at each competition site to treat anyone likely to show symptoms of the disease.
