The countdown to Tokyo 2020 is on. On April 21 at 10:00 a.m. (CET), FIFA Headquarters in Zurich will host the Olympic Football Tournament draws.
Thanks to the live broadcast of the two raffles on the channel FIFA YouTube, all participants will be able to follow the ceremony from home. The draws will be led by Sarai Bareman, FIFA Women’s Football Director, and Jaime Yarza, FIFA Tournament Director.
Fans around the world and team delegations will have the opportunity to follow the draws on the channel FIFA YouTube, Twitter (@ FIFA.com), Facebook @FIFA), Weibo (OfficialFIFA) and WeChat (FIFAOfficial).
The live-streamed ceremony will be hosted by British presenter and journalist Samantha Johnson, current sports presenter and correspondent for TRT World, based in Istanbul. She will be joined by Jaime Yarza, FIFA Tournament Director, and Sarai Bareman, FIFA Women’s Football Manager, who will lead the men’s and women’s draws respectively.
Jaime Yarza and Sarai Bareman will be assisted by two FIFA Legends: Lindsay Tarpley, member of the United States Women’s National Team and two-time Olympic gold medalist (Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008), and Ryan Nelsen, team captain New Zealand Olympic Games in 2008 in Beijing and in 2012 in London.
